Yes, appointments are required so we can provide every client with a dedicated stylist and a personalised fitting experience. Bridal appointments run for 90 minutes, giving you plenty of time to try on gowns and explore different styles, as well as complete the ordering process should you say "Yes" to the dress at your appointment.

Appointments for bridesmaids, mother of the bride/groom, school formal and other formal dresses run for 60 minutes. Appointments are available seven days a week and can be booked online via our website. We recommend bringing no more than three guests, so the experience stays relaxed and comfortable, although this is a recommendation rather than a strict rule.

If you are hoping to visit on short notice, same‑day appointments may sometimes be available by phone.

You are also able to book back to back appointments for Bridesmaid fittings or mother of the bride should you wish to make it a shared experience.

During your appointment you will have your own private fitting area and a dedicated stylist who will help you find gowns that suit your body shape, vision, timeframe and budget. We recommend you wear neutral coloured underwear, limited to no makeup, and no self-tan creams. You will not require shoes for your fitting.

Your guests can relax on a comfortable couch within the fitting area while you try on dresses. Our boutique offers a relaxed, friendly environment where everyone is made to feel comfortable and supported. For those travelling from Brisbane or further, we also have restrooms and convenient on‑site parking available.

We specialise in affordable luxury bridal gowns. Most wedding dresses in our boutique are priced between $1,800 and $3,000, with all bridal gowns under $4,000. Many gowns can also be modified to better suit your style and fit. This may include adjustments such as changing straps or sleeves, altering fabrics, adding buttons over a zip, or creating a lace‑up back. Your stylist will guide you toward options that work with your budget while still helping you find a gown that makes you feel like the best version of yourself.

Belles and Brides is located in the heart of Redcliffe on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula, approximately 40 minutes from Brisbane and about 30 minutes from Brisbane Airport. The boutique is just a short stroll from the Redcliffe Jetty and the main waterfront strip. We offer free off‑street parking directly out the front of the boutique, with additional
onsite parking available for busy weekends. Even on Sundays when the Redcliffe Markets are on, parking is made available to our customers for their appointment. Many brides enjoy making a day of their visit, stopping for brunch or lunch at one of the many waterfront cafés before or after their appointment.

We recommend starting your wedding dress search 9 to 12 months before your wedding date. This allows enough time to select your gown, place the order and organise alterations so everything fits perfectly. We also have a selection of ready‑to‑purchase gowns available in the boutique for brides with shorter timelines. For bridesmaids, mother of the bride/groom dresses and school formal gowns we generally recommend ordering
around six months in advance where possible.

Yes, we do. At Belles and Brides, we welcome many different shapes and sizes and want everyone to feel comfortable trying on dresses.

Most of the sample gowns in our boutique are either a size 12 or a size 18, and overall our sample range runs from size 6 to size 24.

Our collection has been carefully chosen with different body shapes in mind, and in our larger sample sizes we focus on supportive, structured gowns that create beautiful, flattering silhouettes.

Because bridal boutiques carry selected sample sizes, not every gown will be available in every size to try on. However, many dresses can be ordered in a wide range of sizes, and several styles can also be customised.
